Jacob Dayan was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, he moved to New York City, where he began a career as a financial analyst at Bear Stearns’ industry leading Financial Analytics and Structured Transactions group. Within months of joining Bear, Jacob was tasked with managing a Team of analysts responsible for financial modeling and the securitization of mortgage and asset backed securities. Shortly before Bear Stearns was acquired by JP Morgan, Jacob was again promoted into a role as a trader on the Proprietary Foreign Exchange Trading Desk.

 

When Bear Stearns was acquired by JP Morgan, Jacob left to join Millennium Partners, a large Multi-Strategy hedge fund, where he worked as an analyst in a Global Macro Options Trading group assisting with the research and implementation of options strategies. In early 2009, Jacob left New York and returned to Chicago to be with his family and pursue a career assisting consumers and small businesses with various financial needs. In 2010, he co-founded Community Tax LLC (“CTax”) (www.communitytax.com), a full service tax company helping customers nationwide with all of their tax resolution, tax preparation, bookkeeping and accounting needs. CTax has emerged as a leader in the tax services industry, and has assisted tens of thousands of consumers and small businesses across the country. Staffed with Tax Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants and IRS Enrolled Agents, Community Tax has set the standard for customer service in the Tax Resolution Industry and is widely recognized by as an industry leader by its peers. Jacob manages all day-to-day business operations of Community Tax.

Jacob’s broad exposure in the investment banking arena and extensive experience in both the primary and secondary mortgage markets, coupled with his ability to start and develop successful consumer service companies, ultimately led him to co-found National Funding Group (“NFG”) (www.nationalfundinggroup.com). Jacob currently serves as president of National Funding Group, and manages various core operational and business functions. NFG provides access to working capital and business loans for small to medium sized companies throughout the continental United States. NFG was founded with a commitment to assisting businesses in obtaining the necessary financing for maintaining and growing a business without the lengthy and cumbersome application process typically associated with a traditional bank loan.
